Hi all, Unfortunately my mmi in my 2010 A6 Avant has stopped working properly. Its the basic with dvd nav and Bluetooth. When I put the key in the ignition the mmi screen doesn't come on at all. I start the car and still nothing. The controls/buttons are not illuminated either and unresponsive.
With my A6, the pop out screen would not display anything despite the car being up and running and driving. Screen would flicker at times. Navigation would be hit and miss to whether it loaded as often it stated no Navigation Medium Installed although the SD card was present.

autor: karol_rulez » 2021-01-16, 12:49.
I have a 2013 Audi A6 and the MMI screen is stuck in the displayed/driving position and will no retract win the botton or when the car is turned off. I've reset the MMI and that dis not work. Is there a problem with it's motor possibly, or is there something I'm missing? Reply Like 08-14-2018, 04:59 AM # 2 DanfZX14 AudiWorld Senior Member
One of the most common problems with Audi sat nav is that it does not load or takes a long time to load. This may happen due to a software glitch, a corrupted map database, or a faulty hard disk drive (HDD). Some of the possible solutions are: #1. Rebooting the MMI system.
If the MMI screen in Your Audi is not working, there could be several reasons that could cause it. To accurately diagnose the issue the first thing You should check is the passenger compartment fuse box. Go to Your fuse box diagram in Your owners manual to find the fuse that powers the display.
In this video I will talk you through each step on how to fix the MMI black display issue, including what panels and bolts need removing and what parts and tools are required.
Step 1 - Input your radio code It may just need to be reset. If you've ever needed to remove the radio or disconnect the battery at any point in owning your vehicle, this problem will show up. A radio code is used as a theft deterrent in order to prevent thieves from using the radio they stole on another vehicle.
If you own Audi models from 2019 to 2022, including A6, A7, A8, Q7, and Q8, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Those pesky messages like "NOTE, Loading the system, please wait" can be a real mood killer. But fret not! I've got the ultimate solution for you: the Audi MMI Forced Reboot.
